Solidago caesia

A wonderful plant for woodland gardens!  Attracts many species of insects, plus songbirds, including Indigo Bunting, Junco, and Goldfinch eat the seeds.    Blue-stemmed Goldenrod prefers part sun and average to dry soil.  It has yellow flowers on 2-3’ stems in August-September, and is on the endangered species list in Wisconsin.
