Epilobium angustifolium

Fireweed prefers moist soil and full sun to part shade.  It has bright magenta flowers from June-early August and stands 3’-5’ tall.  Bees & bumblebees use the plant for pollen & nectar.  Fire stimulates seed germination, hence the common name “Fireweed”.
