Coreopsis lanceolata
Lanceleaf Coreopsis provides bright cheery golden flowers from May through September on plants that reach a height of 1½’-2’.  Many insect species use Coreopsis, and birds often eat the seeds.  Lanceleaf Coreopsis prefers full sun and average to dry, well-drained soil.  Deadheading will help the plant to rebloom in the fall.
