Baptisia sphaerocarpa

Large yellow wild indigo has masses of striking yellow pea-like flowers in June that attract bumblebees, and it provides interesting seed pods from July through winter.  It prefers full to part sun, average to dry soil, and stands about 3’ tall.  You might mistake it for a small showy shrub!
