Ceanothus americanus
New Jersey Tea is a small shrub (3’ tall) with beautiful fragrant white flowers June through August.  New Jersey Tea is used by hundreds of different insect species, and many bird species eat the seeds.  It prefers full to part sun and well-drained soil. Prune lightly after flowering.
