Echinacea purpurea
Purple Coneflower is one of the most popular plants used in the native plant garden!  It is easy to grow, preferring full sun to part shade, and tolerates almost any soil except for wet.  It has purple flowers July-August and is usually 3’-4’ tall.  Used by many species of insects, plus birds eat the seeds.
