Eragrostis spectabilis
Purple Love Grass prefers full sun and sandy, well-drained soil.  The foliage gets about 1 ½’ tall, and the airy flowers held above the foliage look like a pink haze in the late summer.  Purple Love Grass is an excellent plant for the front your native plant garden!
