Dalea purpurea
Purple Prairie Clover prefers dry to average soil, full to part sun, and has showy purple flowers that attract a plethora of pollinators July to September.  It only gets 2’ tall so is perfect for the front of the border.  Caution—rabbits sometimes enjoy the foliage, too.
