Senna hebecarpa
At a height of 4-5’, Wild Senna looks more like a shrub, but it dies back to the ground each year.  It prefers full to part sun, very moist to average soil, and has beautiful yellow pea-like flowers in July-August followed by interesting seedpods in the fall.  A striking addition to your native plant garden!
